Great place for a half/full day away from main attractions. Great for stroll, bike ride, picnic, watching ducks and watching people surfing. Locals even swim, but it looks quite dangerous since the s… Full review by Diana G

I visited with my teenage son and we loved spending time here. Wear comfortable shoes, the walk is a bit hilly and there are cobblestone roads. The buildings were interesting. There are many shaded a… Full review by Lottie W

We did a guided tour of Munich through Mike's Bikes last week. I noticed another place to rent bikes right in the Englischer Garten - I think it was MUCbike (they have a website). It says that they rent E Bikes for 12 Euros the first hour, then 4 Euros per additional hour. The bikes looked like they were in good condition (unlike Mike's...).

Hello, their website isn’t clear but I found this on another website. “Restaurant Hours: Daily 11am-11:30pm. Beer Garden Hours: Daily in good weather from 11am-11:30pm; opens at 10am on weekends.” My guess is daylight hours or at least 0900 for opening.
We will be visiting for the first time this summer - what is the best way to get to the garden using public transport? A quick search on Google gives us an idea but then says there's a 60+ min walk - we have a wheelchair user and a round trip of 2 hours (not including train/tube time etc) will be two much for him.. does anyone have any tips or should we skip the English Garden? Thanks in advance

I advise you to use the MVV-app. It's a journey planner for public transport. We have used it during a week stay in München last april. It worked very well.
Hello! I wanted to know about the children’s playgrounds. Which one is best suited to Toddler’s? Will we be able to find toddler friendly (bucket shaped) swings here? Thank you!
A:
Absolutely, large toddler playground on south end of parc, near the small river wave. Enjoy
