Concord and Firewalk Studios' tumultuous run has continued, as studio director, Ryan Ellis, has reportedly stepped down from his role. Ellis will reportedly move into a support-based role after previously serving as the game's "shot caller.

A Kotaku report says Concord game director Ryan Ellis has stepped down from his position at Firewalk Studios, and will take on a "support role" instead. Three sources told the site that Ellis, a former director on Destiny 2 who left Bungie in 2016 and founded Firewalk in 2018,

Concord's cancelation may lead to layoffs at Firewalk Studio and a potential studio shutdown. Concord is undoubtedly one of the biggest unmitigated disasters in recent gaming history. Not only did the title flop in international markets, but Sony also decided to pull the plug on the project just days after its initial launch.
