Washington's defense kept Northwestern in check as the Huskies cruised to their first Big Ten win on Saturday at Husky Stadium.

The Huskies settled for field goals after driving inside the Washington State 30-yard line and then got stopped on fourth-and-goal from the 1 in the closing moments. Northwestern is allowing just 13 points per game through the first three games and just 57.7 rushing yards per game.

The Northwestern Wildcats ended their 24-5 loss to the Washington Huskies with 112 yards of offense. Wide receiver Denzel Boston had 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns in an exceptional showing, while running back Jonah Coleman finished with 103 yards from scrimmage.
