The WLOX First Alert Weather Team is watching for possible tropical development in the Caribbean later this weekend or early next week. The National Hurricane Center has highlighted an area in the northwest Caribbean where an area of low pressure may become more organized.

An area to watch heading into next week is near the Yucatan Peninsula. It has yet to organize, but computer guidance suggests its possible next week.
